Where has the time gone! Here we are all done with August and I am just now getting this reveal put together. Yikes.
Let’s take a look inside our basic and premium August clubs!
If you’re new here, Stash Yarn Club is a monthly yarn subscription. Each month we send you a full-size 100g skein of beautiful hand-dyed yarn from our featured dyer of the month and some fun extras to go along with it.
Our basic packs include 1 little goodie and our premium packs include the goodie from the basic option and 1-2 more. Its a lot of fun.

The Yarn
Our August featured dyer is Cherish of Dandelions and Daisies. Her yarn immediately stood out to me as I was scrolling through Instagram. Each colorway is so unique and has such depth to it that you can’t help be drawn in. I had such a hard time picking colorways, I think I changed my mind a thousand times.
Tama, Rosewood Forest, and Pacific Northwest were the ones that I eventually decided on. Aren’t they gorgeous!! This is the same base we had last month. It’s a fingering weight, 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon blend with ample yardage, 463 yards per 100g. This is one of my favorite fingering weight bases. Perfect for socks and shawls or a sweater if you have lots of time on your hands.

Knit and Crochet Pattern Inspiration
Have you cast on a new project with July’s yarn yet? Don’t forget to share them with me on Instagram using #stashyarnclub. If we feature your photo, you’ll get 15% off your next month’s club purchase.
Here are a few knit and crochet patterns perfect for our featured yarn. Each of these uses less than 460yds of sock weight yarn.
Knit
Brush Creek Cowlette by Carina Spencer (watch your gauge on this one and it might be a good idea to go up a needle size or 2 for cast on, it’s been noted that the neck opening ends up a little small)
Thermal Cap by Kate Salomon for Green Mountain Spinnery
Crochet
Sunset Hill Hat by Edie Eckman (this hat pattern calls for multiple colored stripes but I think this month’s variegated colorways would be lovely in this pattern)
Stormy Seas Scarf by Fancy Tiger Crafts
What I’m Making
I just started crocheting the Night Sky scarf by CJ Brady. So far, so beautiful! This pattern is definitely not for the beginner and it took me a bit to find my groove but now I think I have it. The body of the scarf and edging are worked all in one. It’s kind of fun!
I had so much fun sharing what was in August’s clubs with you! I can’t wait to show you next month.
