Let’s take a look inside our basic and premium July clubs!
If you’re new here, Stash Yarn Club is a monthly yarn subscription. Each month we send you a full-size 100g skein of beautiful hand-dyed yarn from our featured dyer of the month and some fun extras to go along with it.
Our basic packs include 1 extra and our premium packs include the extra from the basic option and 1-2 more. Its alot of fun.
Our July featured dyer is Sarah Ramsey from Ramsey Yarn Co. Sarah is a homeschooling mom of four who, when she’s not knitting crocheting or dyeing yarn, spends her free time tending the chickens, gardening or baking bread.
Sarah draws her colorway inspiration from her friends, family, and people she meets. Her yarns are named after the person who inspired it.

This month’s colorways were Arnold, Miri and Kate and are dyed on her sock weight base. This base is classified as a light fingering weight and is a 75/25 blend of merino and nylon. Each 100g skein has approximately 463 yards. This sock base is one of my favorites. It is super soft and would be great for shawls, socks or even a light sweater.
You’ll also find some Soak wash in July’s envelope! The basic pack came with 4 mini-soaks (great for travel or one-time use) and the premium packs included the 4 mini-soaks and a 3 oz travel size bottle!
If you’ve never used soak before, you’re in for a treat. Not only do these little samples smell amazing but they are easy to use too. Just squeeze a small amount (or 1 packet) into some water, soak your knits for about 15 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water and lay flat to dry. No rinsing required.

Here are a few knit and crochet patterns perfect for our featured yarn. Each of these uses less than 460yds of sock weight yarn.
I had so much fun sharing what was in July’s clubs with you! I can’t wait to show you next month’s.
